# Deliverables

> Turn a completed Study run into a client-ready document, edit the narrative, finalize it on your letterhead, and export it.

A **Deliverable** is the document you send a client. Urbee builds it from a
completed run of a Study, so every code fact in it carries a verified
citation.

## Deliverable types

## Create a deliverable

    In the New Study form, under **What you need back**, tick the documents
    you want. Urbee creates them automatically when the run finishes.

    On the Study page, find the **Deliverables** card and click **+ New**.
    Types you can create show **Generates from your completed run**. Types that
    need a run you haven't finished show **Available when the run completes**.
    A Study holds one deliverable of each type.

Memos start as **Generating** while Urbee writes the narrative, then become
**Draft**. Other types go straight to **Draft**.

## Edit a draft

Open the deliverable. A draft carries a large **DRAFT** watermark.

* **Cited facts are locked.** They come from the verified run and change only
  when you re-run the Study.
* **Narrative sections are yours.** Click **✎ Edit** on a section to change
  it. The editor supports paragraphs, bold, italic, underline, and bulleted
  and numbered lists. **Revert to generated** discards your edits for that
  section.
* **Regenerate from latest run** rebuilds the cited content from the newest
  completed run. Your narrative edits are kept.

## Finalize and export

    Go to **Settings → Branding** and add your firm name, address, logo, and
    preparer. A deliverable finalized without branding shows
    "Prepared with Urbee" in place of your firm name.

    Click **Finalize & brand**. Urbee stamps your letterhead and locks the
    document. A finalized deliverable is read-only and can't be un-finalized.

  <Step title="Export">
    * **Export PDF**. Drafts can also be exported, with a DRAFT watermark and
      a `-DRAFT` filename.
    * **Export Word (.docx)**, available after you finalize. The copy in Urbee
      stays the cited source of truth.

Every deliverable ends with this footer, which branding doesn't remove:
"Prepared with Urbee. All code citations verified against the publisher
source; see Sources. This document is not a legal opinion." Your firm's
disclaimer follows it.

  To send a deliverable to a client, export it as a PDF or Word file. Urbee
  doesn't have a share link.

## Find your deliverables

**Deliverables** in the sidebar lists every document across your Studies,
with tabs for **Memos**, **Roadmaps** and **Zoning reports**. You can search,
and filter by **Jurisdiction** or **Status** (Final, Draft, Generating,
Unbranded). **Unbranded** marks zoning reports produced before your firm set
up branding.
