A Site is one property: one address in one jurisdiction. Everything about it lives on its Site page: the Studies you’ve run there, their items, and the Site file of documents.

How a Site is created

You don’t create Sites by hand. A Site is created automatically the first time you start a Study at an address. Later Studies at the same address are filed under the same Site, even if one entry includes the ZIP code and another doesn’t.

Find a Site

Sites in the sidebar lists every property in your workspace. Search by address, name or parcel, filter by Jurisdiction, and click a row to open the Site. Each row shows how many Studies it has and how complete its Site file is.

The Site page

  • Site facts: the governing district, overlays and lot size from the most recent completed run, with citations. They appear once a run has finished.
  • + New study: starts a new Study with this Site’s address and jurisdiction filled in.
  • Studies: one card per Study, showing its status, determination and confidence, target milestone, readiness tracker, and deliverables. Click Open study to go to it.
  • Compare programs: when a Site has two or more Studies, a table shows which filings each one triggers (Required, Not required or Undetermined) side by side.
  • Site file: the property’s documents (see below).

Study stages

A Study starts as a Study. Use Promote to Project when the work goes ahead; the next run then starts a submittal plan. Use Mark not pursued to set a Study aside, with an optional reason. Revive as Project brings it back.

Alternatives

Once a Study has a Program, Add an alternative creates a second Study on the same Site that starts as a copy of its numbers, for example “Renovation + addition”. Compare alternatives in Compare programs.

The Site file

The Checklist view organizes documents into seven categories: Title & Ownership, Survey & Boundary, Environmental, Geotech & Soils, Utilities, Municipal Records, and Tax & Assessor. Each shows Complete, Needs update or Missing, and missing document types appear as slots you can fill. Add documents with:
  • + Upload, or drag a file onto a slot. After uploading you can set the name, Valid until, Effective date, how often it Renews, the Owner, and a link to a Study item.
  • Add URL to link a document by address. Urbee doesn’t fetch it.
  • Paste screenshot.
  • Import ▾ → Email documents in. See Email documents into a Site.
  • Dropping a whole folder at once. Files land as Uncategorized, and you can categorize them afterwards.
Documents keep versions. Use + New version to replace one, and expired documents are flagged Expired. The All documents view lists everything, with Preview, Download, Rename, Move to slot, Add version, Add to firm knowledge and Remove.
